I'm sorry, but there has to be at least a degree of bullshit to the Omar story. Before you call be insensitive, please browse around and watch some ATDI and TMV performances from later in 2012. He's energetic for Mars Volta shows in July 2012, but when ATDI played Lollapalooza 1 month later, he was back to standing by his amp and acting disinterested. I'm glad that everyone else (including the fans) had fun and savored the moment, even if Omar refused to put out an ounce of extra energy for anyone.

This video is a thousand times better than all the pro-shot festival videos. You can tell the people at this show are hardcore fans and the band seems to really be enjoying themselves (I'm pretty sure I caught Omar smiling once or twice). This show was probably insane.

i got in for free by using a fake wristband made of a paper in the back of my truck and a glue stick. i also drew a fake stamp. sucks that you had to pay big money, but it was pretty awesome!

I paid a high price to attend this show but let me tell you, it was worth every penny. This was a bucket list moment and there was nothing that was going to stop me from being at this show. You know it's special when you look over to your right and people are hanging out of trees to get a glimpse. This band is represents what rock n roll was and should be. Enough of this commercial crap that is being forced down our throats. Wake up Omar. We need you.

Theyre back and better than ever! This has got to be their tightest perforance musically.. Cedric's vocals have come a long way and he rarely goes out of key! The energy wasn't there from omar but theres reasons for that.. and also theyre all considerably older than they were so i wouldn't expect them to go as crazy on stage as they used to.but from what i see they've still got it! :)
