I'm going to take a different approach & be honest here. Every girl her age dreams of being a superstar. The next Britney even! Unfortunately, somewhere this one was missled into believing that she's actually better than a few of them. Check out her video! She should definitely be a stripper. But not a singing one. Her voice is just terrible. If you're out there hon, trust me, stripping would be great for you! You should get a boob job though. Guys pay better to see that. ^_~

It's not "ruining the song", it's not like you can't still listen to the original. Just because no-one can perform it like Hayley doesn't mean people shouldn't cover Paramore's songs. It's not about it being better or as good. Personally, I didn't enjoy this particular cover, but I can't see anything wrong in her wanting to try and cover it.
