Just discovered Arthur Russell right now, by checking out Sufjan Stevens on Spotify. I must say that this is absolutely wonderful. I'm sitting here on a Friday night, missing my long-distance boyfriend, so this song basically made everything better and worse at the same time.

Arthur Russell made some awesome sounds during the short time he was here and had a significant impact on what we listen to today. This is one of my favorites. I first heard this song when I was in the back seat of a car with my closest friend, it was really early in the morning about 6.30, the sun was rising but the street lights made everything a bit yellow and this song was playing. It's one of my most favourite memories.
