This great soul song by "Arthur Conley" was released in 1967 and i believe this was the biggest hit song he had.He actually wrote this song with "Otis Redding" and the song was originally released on the Atco label.

segment on Arthur Conley on NPR's Fresh Air today 10-28-2014Protege of Otis redding. Once Redding was killed Arthur Conley's career failed to progress. Eventually he moved to the Netherlands where nobody cared that he was gay, lived and recorded a bit ynder a new name, Lee Roberts, died in 2003.great voice- they played parts of his other recordings- though the songs or the production may have been mediocre, his voice was outstanding.
