But couldnt get the "lost"part tsk...anyway her voice is superb the only prob is she lacks power...mariah has the same quality of voice but more power yet ariana can effortlessly do ridiculously difficult runs like eating a cake....not to mention the note. ...dat note..... The exact problem Ariana Grande has with her very beautiful voice is the exact reason why people put down other singers, it's very soft. It doesn't have much grit or depth. She has a beautiful tone and does runs very well. And I think her runs and vibrato and high notes are why people are so obsessed with putting her on a pedestal. She's very good but can't be compared to people who sing like her and do it better. There are people in her lane that are doing are singing farther than she is. Ariana has more of a commercial presence than they do, though. Her voice reminds me a lot of Stacie Orrico's voice, except I like Stacie's voice so much more. Hell, go listen to Tori Kelly.Ariana has a great voice but there will always be better. No Hate, just truth.

Why is it so damn hard for people to give this girl props on her voice!? I mean, this is a fucking COVER. She is covering the song! Her music wasn't even out when this video was posted on her YouTube! She has her own voice. She's ARIANA. She is inspired by Mariah and Whitney. They are/were great in their time. There is nothing wrong with her infusing them in her music. It's an honor that Mariah should be proud of and that Whitney would be proud of. Rest her soul. All these people that call Ariana a copy cat or say that she can't sing are complete dumb asses! The girl has a crazy good voice. I'm so over everyone downgrading this girl and making it out that she has no talent. That's why her albums both hit number one on Billboard and why she had three songs in the top 10 of iTunes at the same time and why she is selling out shows?
