Back when the song came out, I saw the artwork and title and immediately thought it was going to be totally ridiculous, in the vein of Focus. So I ignored it, until very recently. And I'm honestly sad that I did, I totally agree when you say this is a very good pop song, it's probably one of the best of the year. I love the instrumentals, and the chorus feels so big despite having a slower tempo. It definitely exceeds expectations in terms of pop.8 years ago

I agree, this is also one of my favourite Ariana Grande songs. I feel like this is the kind of song she's good at singing, mid-tempo seductive songs. And I have quite a soft spot for guitar solos, so I really appreciated that guitar solo in 'Dangerous Woman', it had a really nice stringy timbre, and the overall song has a nice vibe.8 years ago

I reckon it'd be pretty awesome if Dangerous Woman ends up being the album that ends up pushing Meghan Trainor into semi-obscurity-but-not-really, considering from what I'm seeing, the lead single of hers, No, is kinda underperforming a fair bit, even though it's probably gonna pick up later. I say good riddance. Ariana's about ten times better than the bulk of Trainor's stuff's been.8 years ago

I didn't like "Focus", but it grew on me over time. Still don't like it much. But I love "Dangerous Woman". It's amazing. "Focus" is on the Japanese version though, by the way.
