On dirait bien qu'ils sont en panne d'inspiration depuis leur coup de maître Controlling Crowds (I-IV). Ils tentent de compenser ce manque d'inspiration par une surenchère d'effets électro, de percus industrielles grossières, de contre-temps, de changements brusques de rythme. Ce n'est pas que ce genre de musique sombre et très sophistiquée me déplait (par exemple je suis friand d'IDM), mais Archive la maîtrise très mal je trouve (sauf sur le titre Axiom que j'ai beaucoup apprécié). Surtout qu'ils ont l'air d'utiliser ces artifices systématiquement dans leurs nouveaux morceaux. Ca me fait mal de dire ça mais ça devient limite pas très beau, trop sérieux et du coup grotesque. En tout cas je trouve ce morceau trop pompeux et ridicule. Même si j'ai toujours aimé leur volonté de se renouveller, j'espère un retour à des compos plus simples, enfin du simple façon Archive quoi :-)11 years ago
