I wish I knew this in the 90's.

Oh, and I'm not saying the radio is any better now; it's probably a lot worse. I'm just saying that listening to good music is a lot easier now.

Yeah, those good old days when shit bands like Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls dominated the airwaves. Hate to break it to ya (not really), but you've got it better now, when you can easily listen to any music from any era (on the internet, of course). However, the doughnuts of the nineties were probably better than they are today.

I would say Dinosaur Jr, Sebadoh and Mudhoney went unnoticed. If anything every person that has listened to guitar music a bit more not only knows but adores them. They're pretty common knowledge IMO. Not the case with AoL though.

@WhiteConejo . I'd heard of them but never listened to them until this remastered Vee Vee. I agree with you. They are incredible.

I'd heard of the band before but never heard any of their music. Vee Vee has got to be one of the best rock albums ever made. Not a dud in the bunch. Amazing. Makes me wish I could play guitar and be in a band and play and compose songs like that. Exhilarating. Liberating. And I'm pushing 60!

I had this on vinyl the week it came out! Haha! It was why the south had such a great scene in the early 90's and why I relocated there to enjoy so much fun stuff being piped out into the universe, If you this you'll probably love the Volcano Suns whom did this kind of thing and mostly went unnoticed as well, though they were from Mission of Burma ranks, not entirely lost as much as AOL were.

I'd be curious to find out what this song is about.

Mee and my friend, Beavis, have a two-man band... we call ourselves... "Pinchers Of Loaf" We'll be at Bum-A-Paloozah 2012 , sharing the stage with "Arturo Sandoval's Blood Pressure" We are actually a spin-off from our mothballed two-man band... "Rod Jeremy & ButtMunch" Both "Tyga" and "Skrillex" suck.
