One more thing, what is it with James putting his face image on many different characters? This is kind of transcending age, sex, shape etc, I wonder if this is meant to say something to the listeners, or is is tongue in cheek? Is it some kind of trauma he finds vent for or just an artistic move, or symbolic purpose? Cause he is actually far from being ugly, but the trademark grin of his is bloody scary!!:) Well, no matter what the truth behid that is, Richard James is one of the most artistically aware musicians I know, he knows exactly how to play his cards, both musically as well as visually.

I rememeber when I first saw this videoclip around the year 2000 on VH1 or Viva2, and I was blown away. I always loved video clips (especially weird ones, the weirder the better), I even had my master's thesis on video clips in college. I'd never, ever seen anything that fuc*ed up and crazy before.
