The pace is ridiculously fast. Gilson Lavis gives his best on drums, but there's only so much one man can do. BTW, Glenn Tilbrook didn't have time for a guitar solo, or was it beyond his skills at this speed? Don't think so, this must have been the end of a tiring day.

Not only Squeeze is a great band but excellent song crafting. Wish there was more good solid bands like them where majority of their songs are really good and not just fillers.

I can't believe so many Americans only know Squeeze as a "one hit wonder" behind 'Tempted'. Argybargy is one of the best pop records of all time. Picked up the two disc deluxe album and the vinyl along with several other Squeeze LPs. I want this DVD. I found a laserdisc of Squeeze music videos in a dumpster of a store going out of business, such a shame.

I think I was at this concert in Hitchin. It was a really fantastic, concert in a smallish venue. I have a feeling that the venue closed down a few years later.

also in response to other comments here,a lot of bands play faster on stage because they already performed the song hundreds of times, and just want to get it over and done with .

I read somewhere that that this song was a tribute to annie lennox and dave stewart aka the eurythmics

@ChristopherBix2 Having also performed live many times over the years, I can also attest that there's a tendency to speed up songs. Most songs are performed faster live than the recorded versions. It's often simply a crowd dynamic thing; when the crowd's rocking, the band (especially guitarists, it seems) is happy to accommodate. Legend has it Big Brother and the Holding Company used to actually race one another to the ends of songs :)

@ChristopherBix2 I love the fast tempo. It's fun and kinda reminds me of an amateur band that I know.

My theory for the insane rushed tempo? Tilbrook started the song at a very fast tempo, the drummer was obviously struggling with it. It was too fast for him to get any sort of normal accents or fills in and so he had to kind of mash his way through it. Being a former drummer myself, I know that this really pisses you off. So the drummer may have copped the attitude of, "Oh, so you want to go fast, do you? and took off as fast as he could possibly go, trying to return the favor,
