When I listen to this music, I don't think the feeling I get is "nostalgia". I appreciate it on its own terms, for its qualities and virtues, and imagine the sensibilities behind it. It's very lovely and sweet and part of our culture forever. I guess the word for what I get when I listen to music like this is "inspiration".

The nostalgia that this song conjures up is absolutely INCREDIBLE! The song is amazing as the pop piece it was intended back in the 20's, but at this point in time it also becomes a time capsule of jazz, vinyl, instruments, voices and a style that have unfortunately passed from favor and due respect.
