Annette Hanshaw (October 18, 1901 - March 13, 1985) was one of the first great female jazz singers. In the late 1920s and into the 1930s.

"The Song is Ended (but the Melody Lingers On)" is a popular song composed by Irving Berlin, with lyrics written by Beda Loehner in 1927. The song's famous lyric is referenced in Ira Gershwin's verse to "They Can't Take That Away from Me", in the line the song is ended, but as the songwriter wrote, the melody lingers on.

The amount of views is ridiculous. Annette Hanshaw should have just as many views as artists of today.
