True, but as Matthew said, you understand it more. They have said in interviews that even though it isn't all they are about, it definitely is a big part of their music. Try going to an Animal Collective concert on acid. I did this last tour and it was the most spiritual, and insane thing i've ever experienced in my entire life. Though I love them from any perspective as well x)
