I grew up listening Blink 182 since i was 11, today i'm 25 years old i met AVA. I got all blink's albums in my cellphone and i put some AVA's songs in it and honestly i loved all these so much, Tom made his own music style and left the jokes and immaturity off like me. It's hard to say but nowadays i identify myself more with AVA but Blink 182 is "forever and ever". :)

lol i read a comment on here were someone mentioned that Blink182 has been writing mature songs since 2003, now i may be wrong but if memory serves B182 split up in 2003.... Yeah Self Titled has some great mature songs in it, but the band still split and didnt start doing songs together until Neighborhoods.

I know this is gonna be blasphemy for some of the fans here but i can truely say that i love AVA more then Blink182, both new and old. I think that Tom has finally found what he's been searching for in AVA and now that he is branching more and more into the film making industry as well as music and art in general i think we are bound to see many more amazing things from Tom.

Tom didn't really "leave" Blink. Mark and Travis were ready to start back up as a full time band together again. Tom wanted it to be more like a legacy band, doing concerts once in a blue moon and releasing small albums randomly. He didn't want to go fully back into Blink. Also as Travis said, Tom doesn't want to do Punk anymore. I think at Toms age and his current vocal range. It was a wise and best choice he could have made. Blink will do fine with their new singer. Angels and Airwaves isn't sub par to blink at all. I always preferred to have Tom singing most of the time anyways Mark has a very monotone voice.
