What he's saying is that religion's simply doing deeds, trying to save yourselves with how 'good' you are. Christianity is a relationship with Jesus Christ, and in a relationship, you do good things out of love, because you want to and know it's the right thing to do, not because you have to or because you're trying to be good. Christianity is all about love; love is self-less. Religion is about good deeds- selfishly helping others to try and help yourself get into Heaven. That's what I've heard
