YES, ALL of my uploads have the same picture reel of photos I found on the Internet of Scotland. I DO realize that some of the songs are Scottish, some are Irish, and some are just folk songs, but I uploaded the songs for the ears!!! Who cares what the picture reel is? Just enjoy these great songs!

I think that's Ethie Castle in NE Scotland at 1:48. Its beautiful and you don't see it much.

Such memories connected with this song, it tears at me. Can't make it through the whole song. :-(

In the last 15 years I have bought and played to death 3 of the "Traditional Music of Scotland" CD's and burned 2 or 3 more and played them to death. This song in particular ALWAYS brings a light and a calm to my heart and I can't help but blast it in the car.

I've listened to this song (bought the CD 3 times) more than any other celtic tune, probably more than 1000x over the last 30 years. There's a lot more in this Robert Burr-uns poem than meets the ear. I had a Scots woman give me the interpretation . . . fascinating!

Love this song! Perhaps its due to the fact I grew up in a textile town, the looms rocked me to sleep..
