Although it doesn't affect too many of their old songs (and the electronic sound effects were already much better in The Millpond Years album).

The most perfect band of the rock era... I just wish they had already access back then to nowadays electronic sound tools.. These songs are marvel as far as music and lyrics and Simon's voice, Justin's guitar, etc.. but the old flanger/reverb and other yamaha synthe effects or whatnot from the 80ies slightly deserve them (Shantell, for instance, does sound a bit too much "80ies" now because of this, in my opinion, when it should really be intemporal).

This song and if im not mistaken the first album too was produced by Lol Tolhurst the drummer from The cure at the beginning and later on the keyboard player and i think they even played the first part of some Cure concerts. Grettings for all the people who like the Post/punk scene.
