I (subconsciously) hear a little bit of Prokofiev's Cinderella overture in here, which kind of makes sense in a way because Prokofiev was a Russian composer and Anastasia is a Cinderella story!

This is a wonderful theme. Although, I'd be curious to know Miklos Rosza, Jerry Goldsmith or Franz Waxman's themes would have sounded like for this movie.

この映画は日本では「追想」として上映されました。悲しげな歌とともに「アナスタシア」が生きている感情を抱いたものです。 でも事実は悲劇で、コルチャークがオムスク政権を樹立していたころにニコライ二世一族はすべて処刑されていたのです。これを明らかにしたのが何と「エリツイン」でした。ソ連時代にはこの事件は隠匿されていたのです。これが分かっていたらこの映画も製作されなかったでしょう。

I think the best sound still comes from vinyl. I recently transferred some old LP's I bought at a yard sale. One of them had music by Alfred Newman. After recording and then the playback through my expensive stereo, "Anastasia", "David and Bathsheba," "The Robe" and others sounded as if they had been recorded yesterday. Thanks for this posting.
