I have been listening to the CD for a year and hadn't watched the interview yet. I like having put my own mental interpretation on the songs before seeing this. I think Amy is very intelligent in her songwriting and I wish I had the breadth of understanding of the craft that she does.13 years ago

Thanks for giving us a different view into the process and into your work (upcoming album). I think you sounded a bit ambivalent about where you are at right now. I think that's great. The times when we think we "know" are usually the ones that lead to darkness. I think many, including myself, can relate to you. In talking about her new record, Amy covers issues including multiple genres on a single work, multitasking/ work-life balance, staying creative, keeping vital and engaged while growing older (still a big issue for women), and dysfunctional co-dependent US foreign policy.
