This proves the real thing that was really happening. Sure, there were fights over here and there between Mariah and Nicki, but I believe that they're friends indeed. I think what called by Mariah as "working in hell with satan" wasn't referring to Nicki, instead it was her statement about the American Idol program. I always knew this program got some worst people behind... Bless them workers there who didn't take part of this fake feud. Seriously, I love them both! :D

What i think here, being neutral Nicki compares the version of Mariah to Amber, and she didnt see what she expected to ambers performance while on Mariahs part. Mariah think positively that Amber making some new things or her own version of Without you as what she did on her own:)

It's true though, what nicki said was true. Mariah's lower registers are sick. No one can touch Mariah's version. There's this so much emotions going on on that song that's just unparalleled. Classic!
