Me Grand Da' Jack Foley's (on me mum's side) parent's came to the U.S. from Ireland. Jack Foley was an amazing organ player and played organ for silent movies back in the early 1900's, survived the Great Depression and made his fortune in real estate and sales. Could sell yellow snow to an Eskimo he could.

Another classic punk anthem Wayne. These boys are still touring in the UK, but sadly are now becoming a parody of themselves. As the poster below suggests check out The Ruts, if Malcolm Owen hadn't of found the Big H, they would've been up there with the Clash, but what they did manage to record is pure punk. It was a top night my friend! They played at the Galaxy Theatre in Anaheim CA and its a great old venue with a lot of atmosphere and real soul. Lot's of great punk bands have graced the stage there and I've seen many a great show there. The crowd was going off and most were singing along, I was. Plenty o' people here in CA that know what's up with old school punk rock from the youngin's to the 50+'s. The punks get along at these great shows. Heaven on Earth if just for one nite of the year!12 years ago

im from just outside of belfast. im only 16, so didnt see these guys back in the day. but i saw them in the ulster hall in november along with protex another great band from northern irelnad. i recommend you go to see good vibrations, a great film about about terri hooley.Videos Relacionados
