I love this song!! I remember seeing them back in 2001, when they were Puddleglum, and this track touched me so profoundly. Then two years later, a friend at school mentioned a band she knew called The Swift and talked about this song and I realized it was the same band. She gave me a cd of theirs and I still listen to it constantly. They are so talented, and it feels special to me that I got to see them so early in their career.

oh i know!!! i went to a youth conference called LIFE in 2007 and they were the main entertainment. every morning we sang "wake up" and the last song we sang was "rain down" and after we sang it it started raining outside and thundering. and this was in Phoenix in the middle of the summer! it was insane!! God is good! :)

i know what you mean. it could really be about anything. i think of it as God talking to someone whose walked away from Him. like this song really spoke to me when my sister walked away from Christ a few years ago. but this is just one interpretation of the song, it could mean something else

there's a whole reason behind it so I'm sorry it ruins it for ya, and yeah they are a die hard christian band so I wasn't even sure they were the actual artist at first.

the reason i say that is because I did see them live. And they explained this song...which is why I know it has nothing to di with a relationship with a girl. But yes you can definitely take it either way. I just wish this video wasnt about a relationship with a girl. It ruins it for me.
