Lennon is my musical hero as well and this sounds almost as if this was one of his home demos. Toussaint was a better piano player though, and that's about the only tip off that this is not Lennon. And this is a truly great song. Before now I've only heard the Glenn Campbell version, which is very good too. I've liked it since its release in 1976. But upon hearing this version performed by the actual songwriter, I have to say that I like this version the most.12 years ago
