yeah they were having technical difficulties, their backing tracks werent working. they had to change their whole set on the spot. they couldnt play reckless and the brave and forget about it. instead they played coffeeshop soundtrack and dammit, which was much more awesome!

The mic is direct to the sound engineers. If you notice in this, and other videos, there are no backing tracks like usual. They don't have the ticking intro to Time Bomb, or piano overlay in the verse. Weightless didn't have the normal electronic beat at the start either. So the problem was the backing tracks (and perhaps click tracks along with it) weren't working.

That mic he had (as far as I know) is direct line to the sound engineers heaphones. I think he was complaining about his hi-hat mics not working cause he switched to a crash at the end of the chorus
