This is a new take on the popular song "All About That Bass" by Meghan Trainor to express the importance of positive body image and self-esteem in young girls. No matter your size, shape or race YOU. ARE. BEAUTIFUL

Listen to my original song "My Body" here: http://youtu.be/NtAHQ80NmnQ
DISCLAIMER: This video was recorded with both treble and bass.
But for real though... This video was a lot of fun to make and re-wrote the lyrics to best suit my message. There is a lot more to be said but I support raising awareness on bullying, mental health issues, (including but not limited to eating disorders and depression) and focusing on realistic perceptions of beauty and positive self-esteem.
EDIT: I would also like to clarify any miscommunication by stating that I still thoroughly enjoy the original song. It's a catchy fun track and Meghan Trainor has some killer vocal pipes! There are just certain lines in the song I wanted to change to be more inclusive to all women :)
Thank you for listening. Spread love.

Lyrics:
It's not about your waist
'Bout your waist, don't settle
For a guy who has no taste, has no taste, don't settle
It's time that you embrace
You've got grace, don't settle
It's not about your waist, 'bout the size of your waist
Yeah, it's pretty clear, I am a size two
But I can shake it, shake it
And girl, YOU CAN TOO
Let's make some room room for kindness in this place
Cause real beauty is something you cannot replace
I see the magazine workin' that Photoshop
We know that shit ain't real
C'mon now, make it stop
If you got beauty building, just raise 'em up
'Cause every inch of you is perfect
From the bottom to the top
Yeah, my mama she told me don't worry about your size
She says, "Love the skin that you're in, girl you can shine so bright"
You know I won't be no fake Plastic fantasy on tv
So if that's what you're into then you don't deserve me
Because…
I'm bringing beauty back
Come on where all my REAL ladies at?
Whether you're curvy, skinny, white or black
I'm here to tell ya
Every inch of you is perfect from the bottom to the top
Yeah, my mama she told me don't worry about your size
She says, "Love the skin that you're in, girl you can shine so bright"
You know I won't be no fake plastic fantasy on tv
So if that's what you're into then you don't deserve me
Because you know
It's not about your waist
'Bout your waist, don't settle
For a guy who has no taste, has no taste, don't settle
It's time that you embrace
You've got grace, don't settle
It's not about your waist, 'bout the size of your waist
