Hi! My Name is Mud
Alright, could people shut up and stop mentioning Kurt Cobain in an Alice in Chains video? It's sad to see how Layne's death was overshadowed by Kurt's suicide. Layne was a unique man, his legacy doesn't deserve to be tarnished by another person. You don't see people mentioning Layne in a Nirvana video do you?

I found my soul tearing itself apart from itself and somewhere in the hollow shell of my flesh was this song, helping me grieve my departed life.

I was going to talk about how much I adore this album but there are no real words to express how I feel. You know exactly what I'm talking about.

Layne Staley has the most amazing vocals out of everyone in the music business in my opinion. The dude had a gift. Such a shame he went when he did. Alice could have easily dominated 2000s rock had he been alive for it. :(

Damn, Layne. There will never, ever, ever be another man like you. With such sincerity in your voice. This album changed my life, and this song is still my favorite of theirs. I've been at my suicide points so many times, and I always believed I would feel better dead, living in a world where I can't be my own, as Layne says. After seeing so many of my friends die (mostly musicians, and mostly from H) it makes me want to live, even if I'm sad, because music is worth being alive for. I would have been dead if it wasn't for music like this coming into my tiny meaningless world.
