Lyrics: I believe this is accurate. I've included the English translation. Alan Stivell is from Brittany which is in North West France. In Brittany they speak Breton which is closely related to Welsh and Cornish.Maraíodh Brian Boru chun beatha na hÉireannSíochain in gCuige Uladh agus i mBaile 'CliathAontacht an teaghlaigh, aontacht na dtuathAontacht an domhain is na gCeilteachBrian Boru will die for the life of IrelandPeace in the province of Ulster and in DublinFamily unity, tribal unityUnity of the world and the CeltsDiouzh nerzh ar c'hadou da nerzh an ehanDiouzh 'bed doueek bennozh ar c'haroudO neart an chatha go neart na síochanaOn bhith dhiaga beannacht an ghrá x 2From plenty of battle to plenty of peaceFrom a world of diving blessings, loveFrom plenty of battle to plenty of peaceFrom a world of diving blessings, loveTá muid 'nos na haimsireGo h-airid an ghríanAgus thogh muid áit bhóg cois ashannWe are like the weatherEspecially the sunAnd we choose a soft place beside the riverMarv Brian Boru 'reiñ buhez 'n IwerzhonDihan e Bro-Ulad ha ba kêr DulennUnded an tiegezh, unded an dud-mañUnded ar Gelted hag an douarBrian Boru will die for the life of IrelandPeace in the province of Ulster and in DublinFamily unity, tribal unityUnity of the world and the CeltsMaraíodh Brian Boru chun beatha na hÉireannSíochain in gCuige Uladh agus i mBaile 'CliathAontacht an teaghlaigh, aontacht na dtuathAontacht an domhain is na gCeilteachBrian Boru will die for the life of IrelandPeace in the province of Ulster and in DublinFamily unity, tribal unityUnity of the world and the CeltsDiouzh nerzh ar c'hadou da nerzh an ehanDiouzh 'bed doueek bennozh ar c'haroudO neart an chatha go neart na síochanaOn bhith dhiaga beannacht an ghrá x 2From plenty of battle to plenty of peaceFrom a world of diving blessings, loveFrom plenty of battle to plenty of peaceFrom a world of diving blessings, loveTá muid 'nos na haimsireGo h-airid an ghríanAgus thogh muid áit bhóg cois ashannWe are like the weatherEspecially the sunAnd we choose a soft place beside the riverMarv Brian Boru 'reiñ buhez 'n IwerzhonDihan e Bro-Ulad ha ba kêr DulennUnded an tiegezh, unded an dud-mañUnded ar Gelted hag an douarBrian Boru will die for the life of IrelandPeace in the province of Ulster and in DublinFamily unity, tribal unityUnity of the world and the CeltsDiouzh nerzh ar c'hadou da nerzh an ehanDiouzh 'bed doueek bennozh ar c'haroudO neart an chatha go neart na síochanaOn bhith dhiaga beannacht an ghráFrom plenty of battle to plenty of peaceFrom a world of diving blessings, loveFrom plenty of battle to plenty of peaceFrom a world of diving blessings, love

Tapadh leibh, 's e ceol breagha a th' ann! Bha mo tidsear ag radh "'S e ceoladair mhath a th' ann an Alan Stivell." Ach chan eil mi a' tuigsinn - tha blas-cainnte Frangach gle mhor air Alan Stivell an uair a gabh e orainn anns a' Ghaidhlig na h-Eireann! A bheil liricean agaibh? Thanks, that was beautiful! My (French) teacher told me that Alan Stivell was a good musician, and she was right. But I can barely understand a thing he's singing because he has such a thick French accent when he sings in Irish! Does anyone have the lyrics?(Enough translations, people who don't like seeing things they can't read??? Should I translate into German and Spanish, too, so more people can understand?)

@MoGhaoil - Bha i a' sgriobhadh anns a' Ghaeilge (na hEireann), cha robh anns a' Ghaidhlig (na h-Alba). AGUS - Tha mi a' tuigsinn! MegaBrianBoru wrote in Irish (Gaelic, from Ireland), not in Gaelic (from Scotland). And I understood it, even though my language is Gaelic (Gaidhlig/Scottish) not Irish (Gaeilge). And if I could get accents to work on YouTube, you'd be able to see the difference, too - Scottish accents point to the left, Irish to the right, and Canada resists reforms and still has accents pointing both ways. Also, people are writing here in English, French, Breton, and something Scandinavian - what difference does adding Irish to the mix make?
