With the J-pop industry as competitive as it is, it's surprising that avex would take a chance on alan. Alan is a Tibetan/Chinese singer who won 9th best new artist at the Shanghai International Art Festival 2006. While she also graduated from one of the most prestigeous music schools in China, her style of music is not very similar to any artist around.

Alan Dawazhuoma was born in 1987 and grew up in the Meiren valley in the Rongxar county of the Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in China. Alan's mother sang in the past and motivated Alan to take an interest in music at a young age. She also started learnig the erhu at the yound age of 8.

Alan was scouted by avex china in Beijing. 2 months later avex anounced her single. It got great promotion for a debut single, Alan preformed both songs a few times and was also featured on 3 variety shows and some magazine covers. single charted at #64 on its first week on Oricon and has sold around 2,062 copies,which is good considering the debut factor and her genere of music.
