there was a club in Cheltenham called the blue moon all the greats played it Alan bown was regular, Steam packet Jimmy James, Gino Washington, even Hendrix! music never was so good!!

Got my copy of the London Swings Live at the Marquee vinyl LP....Saw these guys at Stoke on Trent in those great days...they were amazing. Saw them later at The Place in Hanley (Stoke on Trent) when they were The Alan Bown (with Robert Palmer),,heavy, loud and amazing - great band.....great times....and great music
