This song really reminds of someone who's lost someone to suicide. 'Thumbing through the pages of the beautifully romantic years', as in, looking through the past to try and see what would compell their loved one to do something, and seeing nothing but love. 'You left me here' and 'When we meet again, I'll remember when (you dissapeared, etc)' suggest, to me, a lot of resentment towards the dead person. And then that's mixed up with the love he (the singer) feels with stuff like 'It's hard to move on without you', etc. 'Seems forever's just too far away' seems like a very dark line to me, as if he's thinking about when he'll finally get to die and be with his loved one again.That's just my opinion, though ^^''
