If anything, Pauls's Aeon Spoke venture brought more fame to his other projects. Aeon had singles featured on BBC One as well as plays on primetime television soundtracks, and while those arent necessarily lucrative they are much more "public" than the realm of experimental metal.

Releasing all your material under one band name has nothing to do with a certain level, it just makes it alot easier for new fans to explore all their music. You don't need to be a ''true fan'' to enjoy their music... That's kind of selfish in my opinion.
