Adriano Viterbini is one of the most influential and respected contemporary bluesmen in Italy. His work with Bud Spencer Blues Explosion gained him a well-deserved recognition over the years and the 2013 release of his solo album Gold Foil has taken him on tour around Italy, Europe and the States, supporting and playing along great musicians of the likes of Bombino and Reed Turchi.

On September 9th we caught him at Carroponte in Sesto San Giovanni, nearby Milan, where he performed for us an heartfelt acoustic rendition of Imidiwan Afrik Tendam by Tinariwen on his resonator guitar. Many thanks to him, his manager Nicola and Brizio Press for making this happen.
