Got to see them 2 weeks before Audie died at Tipitina's , unfuckingbeliable is one long word to describe that show. If phil Anselmo would have had a fucking clue about a up and coming band that could have dominated the metal world , he would have took these guys on tour with him from the early years, but his ego got in the way because he knew pantera would be a thing of the past if he showed them around . And I love pantera but acid bath was what he would have rather been in at the time and he was jealous for sure. Sure he made millions and toured the world over and over again , but acid bath was more original and much heavier and he knew it so he did not help them at all. In fact the same day I got to see acid bath at tip's , wouldn't you know , fucking down plays a show at jimmy's on the same night . What a prick !!!! Like I said he was scared that band would get out and dominate the metal world!!!!!!!

acid bath is poetry. this band is what would happen if alice in chains played sludge metal mixed in with blackened death metal and a weird sprinkle of almost-country, with a demonic jim morrisson as the vocalist. "dr seuss is dead" feels like getting raped by ten thousand screaming murderous demons, and liking it.
