Someone on his marketing team isn't very bright. His debut album rocked the hardest out of all his major label projects, and it was certified quadruple platinum. He abandoned that sound for country-tinged adult contemporary pop with high-pitched nasally vocals. Since abandoning his original sound, he has never come close to repeating the success of his debut. He needs to return to his real musical roots.
