E' un singolo degli ABBA, registrato nel 1977 per l'album "The Album", molto piacevole, distribuito a partire dal 1978, ottenne un ottimo successo commerciale in Europa e negli Stati Uniti, scritto da Benny Andersson e Bjorn Ulvaeus. Il testo viene cantato sia da Agnetha Fältskog che da Anni-Frid Lyngstad. Take a Chance on Me fu la prima canzone scritta senza l'ausilio di Stig Anderson. Sembra che l'idea della melodia sia di Bjorn, che quando usciva a correre teneva il ritmo canticchiando tra sé e sé un motivetto che poi sarebbe diventato la base della canzone.

Thanx for uploading amico mio, hai messo in rete tanti video così splendidi e pieni di nostalgia.Questo gruppo era talento e classe allo stato puro della materia, starei per delle ore ipnotizzato davanti a loro. E che dire di Frida Lyngstad, si direbbe che all'epoca erano piuttosto avari di closeups su di lei in confrondo ad Agnetha (splendida creatura bionda e voce incredibile e PERFETTA, sia chiaro) - ma semplicemente, come direbbero in inglese, Frida "kills me".Forse un diverso tipo di bellezza, ma qualcosa di MAGICO che probabilmente manca ad Agnetha?
