This comment is to all the people like myself who initially misinterpreted the chorus of this song. I thought when he spoke about sharing his light he was speaking about sharing the stage with Kendrick and other members of TDE (being humble or something like that). What he's really talking about is sharing knowledge. In many cases light is a metaphor for knowledge hence the phrase "Shed light on this situation". Hope I shed light on this song for some people :)

Many claim to be true Hip-Hop fans, yet the same ignorant muthafukas don't know of the Freestyle Fellowship, LA underground Group, get in tune with Myke 9, Aceyalome, and then claim Black Hippies is the best LA County group, muthafuckas don't even have a clue. all Well, Long live Hip-Hop! Much respect to the Black Hippies, still educate yourselves on this LA Hip-Hop shit.

His new shit is fucking fire. Go listen to The End Is Near, Enter The Void, Whale, On God. It took him aminute to find what he's good at, but he finally found it. Smoke a bowl, google the image of Orion Nebula, and bump some Ab-Soul. you cannot go wrong.

One of my favourite lines from him is "Who am I kiddin' I'mma artist arsonist a good samaritan with bad habits - Kendrick Lamar on the acid tablet." I find he can be just as poetic/artistic/eloquent as Kendrick, he is just more spaced out and his focus is a bit more on the ethereal than the physical. He's the truth though.
