I feel very similar about the whole of this album. The album moved me in a way I din't fully appreciate at the time, but like you say with hindsight I realise that quite a lot of the lyrics mirror my life at the time. I was lucky enough to see them play at a tiny venue in Colchester a few times (as well as bigger ones) and they were amazing everytime. Except for the fact that when I asked them to play Devil Behind My Smile a couple of times Mark said that they didn't know that one :(

this song reminds me of an ex. i wasnt grown up enough to recognise it at the time; but with hindsight.. it always makes me cry. partly cos of the fool i was, but also the way he made me be.

Oh dear. How beautiful. How melancholy. How I remember an ex-girlfriend. How music can do that to you.
