I'm going to tell you the truth. I was 7 years old when this song came out in the U.S. I have my music collection going back at least to the 1800s. And I enjoy listening to all of it occasionally. But this song is one of my favorite songs of all time. I enjoy many of the songs from A-ha. And most of the music that has come out on solo albums. But I think this one has to be my absolute favorite. But it's in good company with a lot of the greats. With songs from The Beatles, Elvis Presley, the Everly Brothers, The Beach Boys, Michael Jackson, The Temptations and so on. But Take On Me, Stay On These Roads and the Sun Always Shines on TV, are three of my favorite songs of all time. For me they are in the company of Air by Johann Sebastian Bach and Meditation (Thais) by Jules Massenet. They touch me in the same places in my heart mind and soul. And again I love all of their music. I can name of each one that I love. But these three just hit me the most. And Morten Harket probably has the best voice and stage presence. He seemed so real on stage. And when an interview you can tell he's very intelligent and thinks everything through.
