If you recall in the end of the book, Ron makes a speaks to his daughter and says "Grandpa Weasley would disown you if you married a pure blood" (or something to that effect)... what I took from that, and admittedly i'm reaching a bit, was that Hermoine's parents survived and had there memories restored. if they were not around their would be no need to refer to Arthur as "Grandpa Weasley" rather than just "Grandpa". It had to be because Grandpa Granger was still around to need to differentiate

@jdhavo11 WTF! How is unrelated? If the movie was basically the last 200 pages of the book, the same story (the quest of the horcruxes, the battle of Hogwarts, Snape's secrets revealed, Harry's sacrifice and his final battle with Voldemort), the same result. Imagine if they made a single movie of the whole book instead of two. And of course the director has read the book, but it's the screenwriter who is in charge of the adaptation.
