This album validated The Beastie Boys. Even though it was not well received at 1st it actually ended up putting them among the top of hip hop hierarchy. As great as Licensed To Ill was, this was more them. Absolutely fucking classic. This track is filled with drug references, my personal fav, " I smoked a cane filled Kool with my man Rush Rush"RIP MCA. Sad we will never hear or see these guys together again. I wish Adrock and Mike D the best, but they made the right choice disbanding, would never and could never be the same without MCA.They were a trio at it's finest. No animosity or jealousy. Just 3 guys who enjoyed working together. So glad I was able to grow up on these guys, was 11 years old when License To Ill came out. Enjoyed all their music, but in my opinion Paul's Boutique was by far and away their best work.
