Surprised at the leaning towards Macca's version from the comments here. I love Paul and 10cc equally, so no bias in my comments, but Paul's version never went passed the demo stage and is, in essence, an under produced boring rhythm guitar strummed demo. This version is more polished and I like the bass and guitars; it also suits Eric's higher pitched voice.

I honestly like this one a million times better than Paul's version. But then again, 10cc is my favorite band and I don't like the Beatles (or any of their solo works).

Macca plays rythym guitar on this version, this version sounds over produced, they should just have kept to the simplistic formula of the demo version stewart did with paul...
