*music aficionados* new favorite instrument: dudukit's a double reed instrument from Armenia, and it has this hauntingly beautiful Middle Eastern sound that is just gorgeous to listen to. the duduk is used in the Battlestar Galactica soundtrack, as well as Firefly, and several other popular fantasy films and television shows.

my favorite song of all the seasons. the scenes this was set to just make this incredible well of emotion open up inside of me. hauntingly beautiful, absolutely the most gorgeous and emotional pieces i've ever heard.

Season one was always the most striking and most "physical" I think... It wasn't until the last season did the show really start to delve into the real mythology behind it... I miss, love, and adore that show and the high quality production. Just amazing, I thank God for it.
