This music haunted me as a kid, in a good way. Though in my youth I cheated my way through doors I couldn't open - playing the game just felt GOOD. I bought the game yesterday and am playing through it again, hopefully with less cheating this time.

I've always been a Half-Life player above anything else.. but I surely played Unreal, Quake, and Doom when they got out. Unreal was such a big step forward, it blew us away.. What it did graphically, the atmosphere, wow. It still looks and feels absolutely beautiful to this day. That is a huge feat, given the fact Shooters age undoubtedly the worst of all games.

I played this last summer and I felt so deep inside the game it was nuts...anyways, that proves that the envoirenment, originality, music, design can provoke a feeling on the players much more monumental than new careless games, and Unreal series is the proof of that. At least untill UT99

Only games I can think of is, Unreal (Gold, Napali), Nox, Diablo 2, Unreal Tournament, Age of Empires 1/2, most of these were made in the 1999's era, and damn.. I miss them, such wonderful soundtracks with amazing gameplay
