This is without a doubt, my most favorite song by U2 (then With or Without You)...and that was an amazing cover of it. You can tell you dig the song, because you feel the shit out of it as you sing, with the movement of music surging throughout you.

Lovely tone, I wish you had sustained the "wide" and "awake" ; the whole song is a build up to those parts, I understand they are not easy to sing but I am sure you can pull them off: I also request you to post a complete cover, it would be really interesting.

This is the best cover of a U2 song I've ever heard. Properly went for the vocals and nailed it. You only need to watch Chris Martin or Bruce Springsteen (both of whom I like a lot) in their recent attempts at the World AIDS day concert to realize how difficult it is to try and fill his shoes. Sadly, many (though not all) of Bono's attempts nowadays don't compare to his 80's and early 90's vocals.Best of luck to you Zanderbleck :)

Nice voice but he skipped the most vocally demanding parts of the song. Not that I blame him--the studio version of Bad is one of the greatest rock vocal performances of all time imo
