smwca123 Not sure how folks say 2525 was depressing. It was a prophetic warning, if you will. Ethical quandring, wondering. With DNA now, we already hear about people picking their baby's eye color & other traits to make them "perfect". Guess that can be depressing...? We didn't even have to wait til 2525.

I haven't heard this in 30 years, thanks so much for the post. This is one of those songs that has stuck in my head for my whole life. Like Boom Town, the flip side of I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing.

Was in the big habit of listening to the reverse side of 45's and this was aa great song...you should listen to paul anka's Papa reverse side of You're having my baby.Onn the reverse side of Atlantis by Donovan is To susan on the west coast waiting. You're missing alot of good tunes.

A sweet, touching story of childhood sweethearts. The original was the B side of "In The Year 2525" - that song was one of the most depressing I've ever heard!
