This anime was great. Like really really great! The only thing is is that I built it up in my head so much and had such high expectations for it because of Watanabe and Kanno. I kind of wish I had no idea who made this until after I finished it. I'm thinking to rewatch it now because it's been a while now since I first watched it. I find Watanabe's work is so layered that every time you watch it, you notice something new each time, especially with the characters. Probably one of the best animes that's come out in the last few years imo.
