HotNewHipHop hits the streets of NYC to find out if random strangers know what slang words like "thot," "bae" and more mean.

There's a lot of slang words that get thrown around in hip-hop music and on the internet's hip-hopsphere. These slang words have become ubiquitous to us, but they're not so common to your average person, as we've come to realize.

We hit the streets of New York to test out random strangers on how well they know their rap slang. We tested them on the following words: "Bae", "T.H.O.T.", "Cake", "Finna" and "Loud Pack." The result is generally hilarious, as people attempt to decipher a meaning for each word (although some did get the meaning correct).
