love the original, and fair play vai puts his own sound to this song. i grew up to the original and played it zillions of times so will always sound the best to me. whitesnake pre-america was a better band imo. more soulful album-orientated than revamped hit making. coverdale sounds great singing baa baa black sheep which helps!

I love both versions of this song. The earlier version has a more soulful sound to it but this rocks just as well

No where near as good as the original version in my opinion.

I like the music, but Coverdale remains a tool to me. As soon as the band breaks it big in the mainstream he ditches the guys who played with him for years and hires a bunch of glam mercenaries.

From what I understand, Adrian Vandenberg was jealous of Steve Vai. With good reason--Steve and Adrian aren't in the same league.

I think the original version have better sound, more clearer. The guitar solo of Vai sound to me like synths

Tres sencillos fueron lanzados del álbum: "Fool for Your Loving", "The Deeper the Love" y "Now You're Gone".

Ni-i-i-ice... good that Vai did not overpower with his guitar exploits - keeps the original spirit of the track... very nice...
