Audie Murphy was one of a kind and I am still a big fan. Didn't know until today when I was reading some details of his life that he wrote several songs.

@barrygioportmorien1 Ps. the album was produced by Scott Turner a friend of Audie's, and recorded in Nashville. Canadian Robert Bouchard does a great job of singing these fine tunes by Audie.

Great tune, I have the Bobby Bare and Roy Clarke versions, and I have the vinyl album titled "Robert and Gisele sing the Songs Of Audie Murphy".............. all good songs, but, not well known,other than "Shutters and Boards"....................... written by Audie Murphy, and sung by Robert Bouchard.......... It is the only vinyl album I kept in my possession, because of my admiration of Audie Murphy as a war hero, actor, songwriter.
