Great song, and I appreciate that "ovalmind" mentions the name of Randy Newman as its creator. Too many other of Newman's songs are presented on YouTube without a mention of Newman as the writer. A number of presentations of this song in particular only list Sarah Mclachlan's name and imply that she is the song's writer. This error does a disservice to the art of songwriting. I appreciate that Newman's skills were correctly highlighted in this presentation.11 years ago
